The stack behind the work

Partners in the stack, not passengers.

1303 Systems is one accountable partner, building on a short list of technologies we know and support deeply. The tools only matter if they work together—under real deadlines, with real people responsible for the next move.

Technology we stand behind

The right pieces, joined with intention.

We do not collect partner logos for the sake of a longer page. We choose tools that make a media operation more dependable, then take responsibility for the seams between them.

That means no handoffs when the integration gets interesting, and no warm bodies dropped into a project without context. The same team stays close to the systems and the people who use them.

01

Media asset management

Iconik

Iconik gives teams a searchable, shared home for their media library. 1303’s native integration connects format components, proxies, keyframes, and metadata mapping to the rest of the operation in a way that fits the team’s actual work.

02

Primary media storage

StorNext

StorNext is high-performance primary storage for media workflows. Quantum is the company behind the technology; 1303 designs and tunes the surrounding infrastructure so large files, active projects, and demanding production schedules can move without unnecessary friction.

03

Scalable object storage

ActiveScale

ActiveScale is scalable object storage for media archive and data-intensive workflows. Quantum is the company behind the technology; 1303 helps place it in the wider workflow with clear responsibilities at each handoff.

04

Archive & backup management

Archiware P5

P5 manages the archive and backup side of a media environment. We are shipping its IngestR integration soon, bringing a clearer path from incoming media to the systems that protect and preserve it.

05

Open-source transcode engine

FFmpeg

FFmpeg is the open-source engine underneath IngestR’s proxy and transcode generation. We use it as a dependable foundation for the repetitive media processing that should happen in the background.

The wider ecosystem

A broader ecosystem, one accountable partner.

The technologies we support deeply are a focused list. The companies we work with can be broader, depending on the workflow, the existing environment, and what the client already trusts. 1303 keeps those moving parts connected while staying the one accountable partner on the project.

Quantum · Scale Logic · OWC · NVIDIA · Dell · Studio Network Solutions · Seagate · Arista · axle.ai · Strada · Suite Studios · Ortana — and more as the workflow requires.

Why a short list?

Fewer seams. More accountability.

We deliberately keep our technology list short so integration, support, and accountability stay with one team. The wider company ecosystem can be broader when the work calls for it, but we do not make clients pay for a learning curve disguised as a solution.

The result is a stack that is easier to explain, easier to support, and more resilient when production gets busy. These are the systems behind IngestR and the broader infrastructure work we deliver through our services.
